Founded in Atlanta by Dr. Nwamaka Ngoddy, Anwuli Eyewear is a brand rooted in culture, clinical expertise, and the belief that eyewear should feel as good as it looks. As an optometrist, first-generation Nigerian American, and Atlanta native, Dr. Ngoddy saw a clear gap in the industry: too many people were being asked to fit into frames that were never designed with them in mind.
Anwuli was created to change that.

With years of experience helping patients find frames that support both vision and comfort, Dr. Ngoddy understood firsthand how important fit truly is. Eyewear is not one-size-fits-all, and neither are the people who wear it.
Her background in optometry, combined with her passion for celebrating individuality and cultural expression, inspired her to create a brand where design, comfort, and representation could exist together.
